How to play

Game Objective

Take control of Lara as she battles her way through her latest adventure. Your aim is to work your way through to the end of each level, getting through all the puzzles and enemies that get in your way.

Starting the Game

Highlight "TombRaider:Underworld" in the games menu on your phone. Press "Select" (or "OK" on the D-Pad) to start the game. You are prompted to choose sound either on or off. After you make your selection, the Eidos splash screen appears followed by TombRaider: Underworld title sequence and the Main Menu.

Main Menu

• Play - Start a game, either an adventure, puzzle or time trial game.
• Options - change options for Sound, Vibration, Language, Hints and Tutorial
• Help - Get help on how to play the game
• Get More Games - Find more great games to play
• About - View information on the game and Credits
• Exit - Exit the game and return to the phone menu

How to Play

Move Lara through the levels using the D-Pad or Directional keys. The center button (OK or '5') is context sensitive and allows you to interact with objects. From time to time hint icons appear on the screen giving you an option for which key to press.

Tips and Hints

• Many of the dangerous objects you meet in the levels are easy to get around if you spend a little time watching them first to study their patterns. It's all about timing!
• Enemies can be dispatched with accuracy if you place your shots well. If you keep firing, Lara will struggle to be accurate. If you pause between shots, Lara will have time to get a good shot in, you will see this by the target getting smaller and tighter as her aim improves.
• Health is important! Always pick up any health you find.
• If you want to see round corners, use the '0' key to activate the secondary cameras. You can then use the D pad to look around the room. Some rooms have more than one extra camera, use the 0 button to cycle through them.
• Levels can be big, it's sometimes best to look around the level first to find out what you have to do before you dive right in
• You can access all your previous conversations and the current mission objectives from the PDA which you can get to from the pause menu.
• Lara carries many useful items with her, these can be found and used in the inventory which is accessed through the pause menu.

FAQ

How do I access the Help?
The help can be accessed from the main menu. In game help will be given through dialogue messages. These can be reviewed later through the PDA in the pause menu.

How do I save my Progress?
Your progress is saved every time you pass through a checkpoint. These appear as floating Blue diamonds.
