How to play

Game Goal:
Take control of Homer, Bart, Marge and Lisa to escape a disastrous vacation at Itchy and Scratchy Land. Playing as Homer, you must avoid dangerous traps and take down enemies with your trusty bowling ball. Arm yourself with Bart's Slingshot, Lisa's robot bomb generator, and Marge's vacuum weapon to escape the confines of Itchy and Scratchy Land!

Starting the Game:

1. On your phone's Games Menu, select "The Simpsons Itchy & Scratchy Land."
2. Press "Select" or the "OK" key.
3. Choose on/off to play with or without sound.
4. After the splash screens, make your selection from the Main Menu.

Main Menu:

• Play Game: Continue a game in progress, or start a New Game.
• Settings: Adjust music, sound, and mute options.
• Help: View detailed instructions and information on how to play the game.
• About: View copyright and customer service information.
• More Games: Information about more great EA Mobile games.
• Exit: Exit to your phone's menu.

Power Ups:

• Hot Dog Vendor (Bart sections) - Shoot the Hot Dog Vendor and he will attack your enemies.
• Vacuum Upgrade (Marge sections) - Temporarily suck up enemies

Losing a Life:
If you die during the game, you will resume from the last checkpoint. In order to continue through the story, you will need complete the level you are currently playing.

You cannot lose the game. But you must make a real effort in order to win the game and complete the story.

Winning the Game:
With the help of Bart, Marge, and Lisa, the family must fight their way through all 4 sections of Itchy and Scratchy Land:

• Explosion Land
• Unnecessary Surgery Land
• Torture Land
• Searing Gas Pain Land

Save all of the popular Springfield citizens you meet on your journey and win the final robot battle to end the game where it began-the entrance of Itchy and Scratchy Land.

Auto Save:
The game will auto save following the completion of each level. This level will be available for replay from the Level Select screen.

Check Point Save:
There are several checkpoints within each level. If you die during a level with lives remaining, you will respawn at the nearest checkpoint reached.

Tips and Hints

• During jumping puzzles, try to find the shortest path to your destination.
• When using Bart, patiently create bigger stink bomb clouds to achieve combo kills.
• Marge's projectiles can ricochet off objects, so be sure to use it to your advantage.
• Bowling slowly can lead to more success and less destruction, but a faster time is always desirable.
• If Homer is low on health, keep bouncing on a trampoline for awhile-his health will auto replenish.
• If you are playing Bart and see the Hot Dog vendor walking by, shoot him!

A. Check the Achievements Section in the Pause Menu for "Citizen" statistics.
