Highlight "SPORE Creatures" in the games menu on your phone and press the "OK" button to start the game. You will be given the choice to play with or without sound. After you have made this selection, the EA and SPORE Creatures splash screen will be displayed. Press any key, and you will be put directly into the game.
At any time during gameplay, press the right softkey ("Pause") to access the Main Menu. Select from the following options:
- Continue: Continue the current game.
- New Game: Start a new game. This will remove any current game progress.
- Map: This is the map where the player can warp to different areas.
- More Games: Find more EA Mobile games for your phone.
- Options: Toggle sound and vibration on and off. Also, saved data can be reset.
- Progress Lists the players overall progress in the game.
- Creature Stats Lists the stats of the player's creatures.
- Help Instructions and information on how to play the game.
- About: Customer service info and copyright information.
- Exit: Exit the game.
How to Play Socialize, fight, or eat smaller creatures to collect DNA. Collect enough DNA to evolve and beat the game!
Interaction A creature that can be socialized with will show a "!" or a "?" when approached. Pressing OK/5 when the "?" is present will initiate socialization, while pressing OK/5 when the "!" is visible will initiate attack. Once all creatures in a level have been interacted with, they will drop a part.
Attacking Press OK/5 to attack. If the creature is blocking, your creature will take damage.
Socializing Press Up/2, Left/4, Right/6, Down/8, and OK/5 to socialize and fill the social meter. Press and hold any key to exit socialization.
Abilities As abilities are increased, your creature will gain special abilities.
Offense (Spike Icon): Increases attack damage per point. Special Attack (deal extra damage) awarded at 6/6 points.
Defense (Shell Icon): Decreases damage taken per point. Shell Block (block all damage) awarded at 6/6 points.
Movement (Footprint Icon): Increases move speed per point. Sprint (move at top speed) awarded at 6/6 points.
Social (Conversation Bubble Icon): Increases effectiveness of Creature calls per point. Charm (creatures will not attack you) awarded at 6/6 points.
Epic Abilities Defeating Epic Creature will give you epic parts that grant passive abilities. Only one epic part may be equipped at a time.
