Starting the game Highlight the "Monopoly Here & Now" icon in the games menu on your phone, and press "OK." You are given the option to play with or without sound (sound can also be turned on/off in the options menu). Select "Yes" or "No" to proceed to the splash screens and Main Menu.

Object of the game: The object of MONOPOLY HERE & NOW is to try to be the wealthiest player at the end of the game. You earn wealth by buying, trading, and building up properties in order to charge rent to the other players.
House Rules: House rules allow you to change some of the rules of the game. Below is a list of the customizable rules:
AUCTIONS - There are two different ways to play an auction. "Round Robin" is the traditional way of bidding that allows players to slowly bid up the cost of the property. This leads to longer auction rounds, but the players will always know what the other players are bidding. "Max Bid" allows players to enter the maximum bid amount they are willing to pay for the property. Bidding only lasts one round, and the players cannot see the other bids. The winning bidder gets the property at a small increment above the second highest bid. This is useful if you want quick auctions. You can also disable auctions entirely by changing the setting to "NONE".
HOUSES PER HOTEL - This number changes the number of houses that you are required to build before you can build a hotel.
FREE PARKING - This option changes the amount of money that you will get if you land on the Free Parking space. In the default game, it is set to None, but you can set it to be a specific number, or all of the Tax money that has been collected so far in the game.
INITIAL CASH - This option changes the amount of money you have at the beginning of the game.
LAND ON GO SALARY - Changing this option will double the Go salary if your piece lands on the Go space.
PROPERTIES AT START - This allows you to change the number of properties with which you start the game. When starting with properties, the cost of the properties will be subtracted from your starting money.
LIMITED HOUSES - With this option On, you can only build houses if there are house tokens left in the bank. Turning it Off allows you to build an unlimited number of houses.

Q. How many contestants participate in a given game? A. Four players total, maximum. You can mix human and AI (in-phone computer) players in the 4 available slots.
Q. How do you win? A. You win by avoiding bankruptcy and being the last player still active in the game, with the most wealth.
