MULTIPLE GAMEPLAY MODES!!
Quick Play
This mode of play starts a new single player, single game bowling game.
One Player Games
This mode lets you decide if you wish to start a single game, a 3-game series or enter Practice mode.
- Play Now! - A single game where the objective is to score the highest amount of points.
- 3-Game Series - A series of 3 games. Your goal is to score the highest amount of points within these three games.
- Practice Mode - A mode of play where you practice your shots.
Pass N'Play
This mode lets you play with friends! Each player plays a full frame of bowling before passing the phone to another player. In this mode, a special screen is shown indicating you that you need to give the phone to another player.
Practice Mode
This mode lets you modify the pin configuration so that you can practice your shots.
To modify the pin configuration, all the keypad keys are available. Their functions are described as
- 1 to 0 - Toggle pins 1 to 10 (0 being pin 10)
- STAR (*) - Invert the pin selection
- POUND (#) - Cycle through presets
Once you have made your selection, press "Next" to start aiming and practice your shots!
The STAR key inverts your pin selection. For example, if you had pin 7 and 10 toggled out, pressing STAR would toggle them back in and toggle out all the other pins. It is very useful for quickly creating your configurations instead of manually taking out every pin you want out; just take out the pins you want in, then press STAR and you will quickly have your desired configuration.
The POUND key cycles through standard difficult bowling pin configuration so you can practice and improve your game. The presets are
- All Pins (1 to 10)
- Baby Split (2-7 or 3-7)
- 7-10 Split (7-10)
- Big Ears (4-6-7-0)
- Christmas Tree (3-7-10 or 2-7-10)
- Cincinatti (8-10)
- Clothesline (1-2-4-7 or 1-3-6-10)
- Dime Store (5-10)
- Kresge (5-7)
- Lilly (5-7-10)
- Poison Ivy (3-6-10)
HOW BOWLING SCORING WORKS
Score in Bowling is simple: each and every pin that falls is worth one point.
If you score a Strike (all pins fall in your first shot), your current frame will be worth 10 points, plus the amount of pins you took down in the next two shots. The maximum amount of points in a single frame is 30(10 for your first shot, 10 for the second shot and 10 for the third shot).
If you score a Spare (all pins fall in your second shot within a frame), your current frame will be worth 10 points plus the amount of pins you took down in your next shot. The maximum amount of points given for a spare is 20 (10 for the first 10 pins, plus 10 if you score a Strike in your next shot).
A perfect game is worth 300 points; it equals 12 consecutive strikes in a row.
