Game Rules Every day has a certain amount of orders to complete successfully in order to pass. Each order has several meals to prepare by adding requested ingredients. Choose the station you start cooking at carefully in order to time your meal preparation. Your order is rated at completion based on how little overcooking and cooling the meal experienced.
Chef Ramsay's patience drains quickly, putting time pressure on completing orders. If he runs out of patience, it's game over! Pleasing him with well prepared meals will buy you more time. Finish the day with his patience maximized for a perfect score!
Game Modes There are three ways to enjoy Hell's Kitchen:
- Career features 28 levels (days) over four weeks. Daily results are combined to determine your overall career title. Start your career as a dishwasher and work hard to rise up to Executive Chef!
- Instant Play lets you jump into the kitchen quickly. The proposed match is automatically adjusted to your level.
- Recipe Book brings the Hell's Kitchen experience into your real kitchen. Discover 35 recipes from the world renowned, 3-Michelin Star chef Gordon Ramsay's books and restaurants.
Prepare your ingredients ahead of time. If you only prepare them once they're requested, the preparation time gets added to the total time taken to complete an order.
Start the cooking station with the longest preparation time first. Start cooking stations with shorter preparation times when the same amount of time is left. You'll be rewarded with a timing bonus, and the meals will spend a minimum amount of time cooling while waiting for the order to be completed.
Make sure you keep a different last requested ingredient for each cooking station. Otherwise, you will have little control over when to start each.
Q: What ingredients are used in the kitchen? A: You start your career with grains, fruits and vegetables. As your skills progress, chef Ramsay brings in dairy, poultry, meat and seafood to enhance your menu.
Q: How can I tell how long a cooking station will take to cook? A: The pot takes longer to cook than the saucepan, and the saucepan takes longer than the frying pan. Take a look at the hourglass timer's relative levels as a reminder. Start the longest timer first!
Q: How do I earn bonuses? A: There are three types of bonuses:
- Sync Bonus is given when you time perfectly two or more cooking stations.
- Perfect Bonus is given when you have four-star order ratings. The more Sync and Perfect Bonuses you have in a row, the bigger the bonus!
- Course Completion Bonus combines the total bonus with Chef Ramsay's meter to further improve your score.
Q: How can I view the recipes I have unlocked on my PC? A: In the Recipe Book, find an unlock code representing your current progress in the recipe book. Download the computer version of the game on Pogo.com, and enter your code to unlock the same progress. On the computer, you will be able to see meal photos and print recipes at your convenience.
Q: How do I turn the sound off? A: Select Options from the Main menu. Highlight Sound and use the D-Pad or "4" and "6" Keys to set the sound to On/Off. Press Back to save the change and return to the Main Menu.
