SETTING UP YOUR GAME
From the main menu, highlight menu options by using the Up/Down arrows on the direction pad. To activate a menu option, highlight the option name and press Select, or press the keypad number corresponding to the option.
There are six options on the main menu:
Play - Opens the Play menu. Highlight a game in the list and press Select to select a game.
Options - Opens the Options menu. Highlight an option in the list and press Select to change its value. The following options are available:
- Sound - Turn sound effects on or off.
- Vibration - Turn vibration on or off. (Supported devices only.)
- Tutorial - Turn tutorial screens on or off.
- Cards - Set the color of the card backs.
To erase game progress and statistics, select the Reset Game option.
Statistics - Opens the Statistics section. Use the Left/Right keys to view Overall or Game-Specific statistics.
The Overall statistics are:
- Current Rank - Your current betting rank.
- Best Game - Your most profitable game.
- Worst Game - Your least profitable game.
- Windfalls - The number of windfalls accepted.
- Most Played Game - The game played most often.
The Game-Specific statistics are:
- Win % - The number of games you've won compared to the number of games you've played.
- Total Earnings - The total amount of money you've won or lost in this game.
- Best Win - The largest single win in this game, excluding jackpots.
Help - Displays the Help section.
About - Displays copyright and development information.
Exit - Exit Hard Rock Casino 2.
General Casino Rules
Playing the Games
When players are required to make a decision in a casino game, such as setting bet amount, dealing cards, or marking paylines, the available actions are shown in the Action List.
Use the arrow keys to highlight an action from the Action List and press Checkmark to confirm the action, or press the keypad number corresponding to the action.
The game displays the results of the chosen action, and then displays an updated Action List for the next step.
Setting Bet Amounts
To change the amount of each bet in a game, choose "Set Bet" from the Action list.
The Set Bet pop-up display appears. Enter the new bet amount with the keypad, or press the Up/Down arrows to select one of the pre-defined bet amounts.
You cannot place a bet that is higher than the maximum bet.
Press Checkmark to confirm the new bet amount, or press X to cancel the change and return to the game.
Viewing Payouts
While playing a game, press the asterisk (*) key to open the Payouts screen, or press Home to open the Pause menu, and select the "Payouts" menu option.
The Payouts screen appears, listing all the possible winning combinations and payouts for the current game.
Press Back to return to the Pause menu.
Understanding Betting Ranks
Your betting rank indicates your success at the casino games. The bigger your wallet, the better your rank.
The betting ranks are: Novice, Amateur, Pro, High Roller and Whale.
Higher betting ranks let you place larger bets at each game.
Finding Windfalls
When your wallet contains less than $1, you are offered a windfall that replenishes your wallet and allows you to continue playing.
A windfall adds $5000 to your wallet and resets your betting rank to Novice.
