Starting the game
Highlight the "Cranium" icon in the games menu on your phone, and press OK. Answer YES or NO to the questions regarding sound and vibration and proceed to the splash screens and Main Menu.

- Single Player - Start or continue a single player game.
- Multiplayer - Start or continue a multiplayer game.
- Free Play - Play a specific mini-game from a specific category. You can unlock a locked game by spending 4 stars from your collected stars.
- Get More Games - Find more EA Mobile games for your phone.
- Options - Toggle ON/OFF sound, vibration and tutorial tips. You can also reset the game here.
- Ranking - Check which players got the best score in single player mode.
- Help - Display detailed instructions on how to play the game.
- About - Display legal info, customer service and copyright information
- Exit - Exit the game
Objective of the game:
The main objective of Cranium is to take the spaceship to Plant Cranium by completing a series of mini-games.
Game Rules:
The player has a specific number of turns to reach the objective. . Depending on how fast the player completes a mini-game, he/she earns 1-4 score points. For each earned point, the spaceship moves one step closer to Planet Cranium.
CRANIUM-O-MATIC: The Cranium-o-matic randomly chooses a Cranium category (Word Worm, Star Performer, Creative Cat or Data Head) and an associated mini-game. In Single or Multiplayer modes, cranium-o-matic spins until it chooses the random mini-game. In Free Play mode, cranium-o-matic is manually controlled by the player who can select the category and the mini-game. Only unlocked mini-games can be played. The player can unlock a mini-game by spending 4 collected stars. Stars are collected in Single Player game mode.
ACHIEVEMENTS: At the end of each mini-game, score points are achieved if the player completed the mini-game on time. The score points given depend directly on the time taken to complete the mini-game. This screen shows the score points that is awarded. However, if the player selects a wrong answer (on multiple answer selection mini-games) or runs out of time, this screen is not shown because the player is not eligible to any score points.
ACCELERATORS: In single player games, the accelerator screen might randomly show up. This doubles the score points achieved in that mini-game. Make the most out of accelerators to reach the objective as fast as possible.
PROGRESS SCREEN: In this screen the player gets to see how the progress is going on, the steps needed to reach the objective and how many turns are left. In Single Player mode, there are some 'checkpoints', which award the player with 1 star every time the spaceship reaches one of them. These stars can be spent on unlocking mini-games in Free Play.
WINNING: The player gets 1 extra star if the spaceship reaches Planet Cranium. Furthermore, any turns left are awarded, as bonus by giving 1 extra star for every 3 turns left. These collected stars are then spendable in unlocking mini-games in Free Play.
In Multiplayer mode, the number of turns available and steps needed to reach the objective varies depending on the number of teams to be played.
Saving/Loading
Game progress is automatically saved. To load, select "CONTINUE" from Single Player or Multiplayer sections in Main Menu.
Q. How many players participate in a given game?
A. A minimum of 2 teams and a maximum of 4 teams with at least 2 players in each team can be formed to play a multiplayer game.
Q. How do you win?
A. Complete the mini-games as fast as possible to get the spaceship to Planet Cranium and win the game.
