Highlight the "C&C: Red Alert Mobile" icon in the games menu on your phone and press OK. The Red Alert splash screen appears, followed by the EA Mobile screen and then the Main Menu
Main Menu - New Game - Start a new game in the Soviet or Allied Campaign. Skirmish mode is also available.
- Continue - Continue a game in progress, saved from a previous session.
- Options - Press OK or select to toggle Sounds and Vibrations on or off. You may also alter the in-game movement indicator and Game Progress option.
- Help - Display detailed instructions about how to play the game.
- About - Display legal info, customer service and copyright information.
- Bonus - See details about some of the troops in the Encyclopedia or view your Achievements.
- Exit - Return to the main game menu on your phone.
How to Play Select the "New Game" option from the Main Menu. An introduction dialogue of the game's characters appears. Read this text, or select "Skip" to jump directly in the game.
Exploring / General Actions - Use the D-pad (Direction Pad) to move the cursor. Press 5 to issue move and attack orders.
- Press OK or 5 over buildings to issue contextual orders.
- Press OK or 5 to view the next line of dialogue or instructional text.
- Press the left soft key to skip in-game cinematics.
- Press the left soft key to change the squad you are controlling.
- Press the right soft key to pause the game and reach the in-game menu.
Controlling your troops - During each mission you will be presented with specific objectives for your troops. Read the briefings carefully.
- Your troops are controlled via a two-squad based system. Use the left soft key to toggle between them.
- Each squad may be assigned specific orders: hold ground to repel incoming waves of enemies or attack hostile troops.
- Buildings on the map may be used as shelter. With one of your squads selected, position the cursor over a building and issue a garrison order. They will enter the building and open fire on any passing enemy troops
- Each faction has three special air strikes in the form of Super Weapons. Press the # key and select one of the three super weapons currently available for that faction. Place the cursor over an area, press 5/OK and watch the havoc they produce.
Building your army - Specific buildings for each faction may be placed on the map via the building system. Simply tap the 0 key on the device to open the build panel on the right side of the screen.
- Once you have selected a building from the panel, use the cursor to place it on the map and then press 5 to confirm the action.
- Once your base is in place, press the * key to open the unit recruitment panel. Select the unit you want to train and confirm the selection via the 5/OK key.
- You may place units in one of the two available squads.
