How to play
Starting the game
Highlight the "MONOPOLY" icon in the games menu on your phone, and press "OK." A screen appears giving the option to play with the sound on or off (sound can also be turned on/off in the options menu). Select "Yes" or "No" to proceed to the splash screens and Main Menu.

Object of the game:
The object of MONOPOLY is to try to be the wealthiest player at the end of the game. You earn wealth by buying, trading, and building up properties in order to charge rent to the other players.
House Rules:
House rules allow you to change some of the rules of the game. Below is a list of the rules that can be changed, and a description of what they can be changed to.
AUCTIONS - There are two different ways to play an auction. "Round Robin" is the traditional way of bidding that will allow players to slowly bid up the cost of the property. This will lead to longer auction rounds, but the players will always know what the other players are bidding. "Max Bid" allows players to enter the maximum bid amount they are willing to pay for the property. Bidding only lasts one round, and the players cannot see the other bids. The winning bidder gets the property at a small increment above the second highest bid. This is useful if you want quick auctions. You can also disable auctions entirely by changing the setting to "NONE".
HOUSES PER HOTEL - This number changes the number of houses that are required to build before you can build a hotel.
FREE PARKING - This option changes the amount of money that you will get if you land on the Free Parking space. In the default game, it is set to None, but you can set it to be a specific number, or all of the Tax money that has been collected so far in the game.
INITIAL CASH - This option changes the amount of money you start a game with.
LAND ON GO SALARY - Changing this option will double the Go salary if your piece lands on the Go space.
PROPERTIES AT START - This allows you to change the number of properties you start the game with. When starting with properties, the cost of the properties will be subtracted from your starting money.
LIMITED HOUSES - With this option On, you can only build houses if there are house tokens left in the bank. Turning it Off allows you to build an unlimited number of houses.

Game progress is automatically saved. To load, "CONTINUE GAME" from the Main Menu.
Tips and Hints
Houses have better ROI or "Return On Investment" than Hotels - you'll get more bang for your buck if you max out on Houses, but don't build any Hotels. If the "Limited Houses" setting is on in the House Rules, you'll also cause a "housing shortage" for the other players that will prevent them from building up their properties.
Make sure you keep enough money on hand at all times to pay rent and avoid bankruptcy.
