How to play

Hard Rock Casino is the place to rock!
The following explains how to get the most fun out of your game:

JUMPIN' JACK BLACK
Goal: To beat the dealer's hand without going over 21.

How to play:
Select a betting area (they are 3 possible areas) by using D-PAD UP or D-PAD DOWN. Use D-PAD LEFT or D-PAD RIGHT to select the amount you wish to bet. The maximum amount of betting per area is set to $250. Press OK to confirm the bet. You can Select Reset to remove a wager from a betting area.

Once done, select the Hand or NUM-0 to deal the cards.

• Select Hit to receive another card or Stand to move to the next hand.
• Select Double to double your bet, and receive only one extra card.
• Select Split to divide your cards into two hands.

Rules of Jumpin' Jack Black:

Card Values:
Aces can be worth 1 or 11. Face cards are worth 10. All other cards are worth their numeric value.

Dealing Cards:
You receive 2 face-up cards. The dealer receives 2 cards, the first facedown, and the second face-up. You can ask for another card (Hit) or keep the cards you have (Stand). The dealer then completes his hand according to the casino rules as written on the table. The dealer stands on 17 and draws up to 16. Any hand over 21 is a bust and immediately loses. When you and the dealer show equal hands, a push is declared: no one wins, no one loses.

Blackjack:
If you show 21 on the opening deal, you have Blackjack, which pays 3 to 2 if the dealer doesn't have Blackjack as well. A 21 with the first 2 cards of a split hand is not a Blackjack and is paid 1 to 1.

Split:
When you are dealt 2 cards of equal value in the opening hand, you can split the cards into separate hands. If you split a pair of Aces, you may only take one further card for each hand. When splitting, you must bet an amount equal to your initial bet. You can only split once per hand.

Double:
After the initial deal, you can double your bet, but receive only one extra card.

Insurance:
If the dealer shows an Ace, you may purchase insurance for half of your initial bet. If the dealer has a Blackjack, the insurance bet pays 2 to 1. If the dealer doesn't have Blackjack, the insurance bet is lost.

LONELY HEARTS POKER
Goal: Make valid poker hands of greater than a pair of tens.

How to play:
Use D-PAD and press Bet or use NUM PAD to place a bet.

Once done, select the Hand or NUM-0 to deal the cards. To change cards, select or de-select the card(s) you wish to hold by using the D-PAD or NUM-1 to 5. Select the Hand to deal the new cards. You only get one change of cards per game.

Rules of Lonely Hearts Poker
Only hands that can beat a pair of tens will allow you to win any money.

Card order (from lowest to highest): 2 to 10, Jack, Queen, King, Ace.

A payout bonus will be given if the winning hand contains any hearts (only one bonus given even if entire hand is hearts). An additional bonus will be applied if the winning hand contains the Queen of hearts.

The following shows the order of winning hands (from lowest to highest):

• Pair of Jacks or better.
• Two Pair.
• Three-of-a-kind.
• Straight - 5 cards that follow consecutively. They do not have to be of the same suit.
• Flush - 5 cards of the same suit. They do not have to follow consecutively.
• Full House - A three-of-a-kind plus a pair.
• Four-of-a-kind.
• Straight Flush - Is a Straight, but all cards are of the same suit.
• Royal Flush - A Straight Flush containing 10, Jack, Queen, King an Ace.

TWIST MACHINE
Goal: Get winning pattern(s) of Hard Rock Casino (HRC) symbols.

How to play:
Select a line by using the D-PAD or NUM PAD and then place your bets by using the D-PAD or the NUM PAD. Once done, select the Handle (in the down right corner) and press Spin (using the D-PAD) or NUM-0 to spin the machine

Rules:
Winning patterns are only checked on horizontal lines.

You can press the * key at any moment in the game to review the payouts.

In every game, when you want to place your second bet, you can choose the Handle or NUM - 0 to place the same bet as you previously did. This will provide you with a quicker game play experience.

Tips and Hints

What options are available in the game menu?
Once in the game main menu, you can highlight menu options by using the Up / Down directions on the direction pad (D-PAD) or by choosing the key number on the keypad (NUM). To access an option, highlight it and press the ''Select'' key. There are six options on this screen:

1. Jumpin' Jack Black - Highlight this option and press "Select" to access Jumpin' Jack Black and play this game.
2. Twist Machine - Highlight this option and press "Select" to access Twist Machine and play this game.
3. Lonely Hearts Poker - Highlight this option and press "Select" to access Lonely Hearts Poker and play this game.
4. Options - Highlight this option and press ''Select'' to access the Options screen. In this screen, using the Up / Down, Left / Right directions on the direction pad, you'll be able to select:
• Sound: On / Off
• Special Pop-ups: On / Off
• Animations: On / Off
• Reset Wallet: Select this option and select Reset to have the Hard Rock Casino give you $5000 in spending money in their casino. You have the chance to say Yes or No to reset your wallet
5. Help - Highlight this option and press ''Select'' to access the Help Section. From there, highlight and Select one of the three games to have specific help on how to play the game.
6. About - Highlight this option and press ''Select'' to view Copyright and development information.

How to navigate throughout the game?
The following keys will be used throughout the game to navigate trough the menus and the games:

• Directional Pad (D-PAD): Scroll through the menus and games
• Numeric Pad (NUM): Scroll through the menus and games
• Left Softkey: Back / Menu
• Right Softkey: Select an option (will change from game status)
• CLR key: Brings you to the main menu
