The Sims 2 Castaway How to Play
Your first step is to create and name your Sim.
Controls
Move your Sim and interact by using the context sensitive cursor.
Move your Sim - Select where you'd like your Sim to walk by placing the cursor with the D-pad or the number keys, then click "OK" or "5" to move.
Interact - When your cursor changes to a context sensitive icon, press "OK" or "5" to interact with the selected object or Sim.
Info Screen - Press the right softkey and select Info Screen.
Map - Press the right softkey and select map to view your location. You can "quick travel" to a new location by selecting it with the D-pad and pressing "OK."
Pause Menu - Press # to enter the pause menu.
Goals - Exclamation points mean you have an active goal with that Castaway. Red Point means that the Castaway has a new goal available for you. Keep an eye on your Sim's conditions:
Needs - Mood, Comfort, Hunger, Energy, Social, Fun
Playing the Game
Learn basic survival skills (like eating) and interact with other Sims!
