Levels

ENTRANCE
Responding to a Union Aerospace Corporation (UAC) distress call, you arrive at a Martian research facility under siege. Your mission: Engage the enemy with extreme prejudice and neutralize the unknown threat at all costs?

JUNCTION
The Junction of the UAC research facility functions as barracks and refuel point for all UAC personnel. Useful information can be gathered from the hardened soldiers recovering from their wounds. Doctors offer healing services in the med bay and items can be purchased from vending machines with UAC credits. All sectors of the research facility can be accessed from the Junction.

SECTORS 1-7
The seven sprawling Sectors of the UAC research facility include Ore Processing, Hazardous Waste Storage, Biological Research and other functional labs dedicated to the research of the Martian ecosphere. The oldest sector of the UAC research facility dates back to Earth's first colonization of the planet in 2112. Many areas of the labyrinthine facility have fallen into decay or collapsed to reveal ancient caverns beneath the planets surface.

REACTOR CORE
The central power source and base of operations for all engineering personnel in the UAC research facility is housed in the Reactor Core. The main reactor is shielded by impenetrable power couplings and off limits to only the highest ranking of UAC personnel.

Inventory

Your inventory can be accessed through the pause menu while in game. Your inventory is used to hold useful items, weapons, ammo, and your notebook. All relevant information (i.e. computer codes, useful tips) discovered within levels will be stored in your notebook. To access your notebook, head into the pause menu, access your "Inventory" and select "Notebook." Other useful items that can be collected throughout the UAC research facility are:

Keycard
Grants access to areas of the base otherwise off limits. Coded by color.

Halon Canister
Replenishes your Fire Extinguisher charge. Comes in 3- and 10-charge canisters.

Bullet Box
Boxes of ammunition for your Pistol or Chaingun. Comes in 4- and 10-bullet clips.

Shells
Ammunition for your Shotgun. Comes in 4- and 10-shell clips.

Health Vial
Replenishes your health 4 points up to your max health at the time.

Armor Shard
Adds strength to your armor in 4-point increments up to your max armor strength at the time.

Flak Jacket
A flexible, combat-ready armor jacket that adds 25 points to your armor strength.

Combat Suit
A higher density combat-ready armor suit that adds 50 points to your armor strength.

UAC Credit
Mars money. Comes in One Credit and Five Credit units. Use credits to buy items and stats at vending units around the base.

Medkits
On-demand health boosters that get added to your inventory, ready for you to use as you see fit. Small kits add 25 health; large add 75.

Axe
Standard issue UAC fire axe. Use it to break down jammed doors and chop up opponents.

Fire Extinguisher
Halon-charged extinguisher for putting out nearly all classes of fires. Also appears useful against fire-based creatures.

Shotgun
Buckshot scattergun particularly useful against enemies at close range.

Chaingun
Multi-shot Gatling-style gun that packs a punch but eats through ammo quickly.

Many more items and weapons are rumored to exist throughout the UAC research facility. Explore all of the facility's secret passageways to discover them all.

Combat and Monsters

Doom RPG is a role-playing experience that allows you to "level up" your character to become more powerful. Your character can level up by gaining XP (experience points) through killing monsters, accomplishing tasks (like putting out fires) or finding secrets. Each time your character goes up a level, their base statistics increase making them more powerful. Stats can also be cybernetically enhanced by purchasing upgrades in vending machines. The statistics your marine has at his disposal in Doom RPG are:

Health: The amount of damage that can be sustained before dying. The higher your level, the more maximum health you have. You will die once your health drops to or below zero.

Armor: Marine standard issue. Armor absorbs damage that would ordinarily be taken from Health. The higher your level, the more armor you can equip.

Defense: Your ability to defend yourself against incoming damage. The higher your defense, the less damage you will take.

Strength: Your ability to inflict damage upon your enemies. The higher your strength, the more damage you will do to monsters.

Agility: Your ability to dodge incoming attacks. The higher your agility, the more likely a monster will miss you when attacking.

Accuracy: Your ability to land a hit on an enemy. The higher your accuracy, the more likely you will hit an enemy and land "critical damage" (twice the normal damage inflicted).

The corridors of the UAC research facility are riddled with creatures. The monsters you will encounter in Doom RPG include:

Zombie Class:
Zombie Private Zombie Lieutenant Zombie Captain
Hellhound Class:
Hellhound Cerberus Demon Wolf
Commando Class:
Troop Commando Assassin
Imp Class:
Impling Imp Imp Lord
Lost Soul Class:
Phantom Lost Soul Nightmare
Pinky Class:
Bull Demon Pinky Belphegor

Transmission lost -- reconnaissance on all beasts inhabiting the UAC research facility is incomplete.

Prepare for many more monsters on your journey through the Martian complex!
