Starting the game
First, highlight the "Lemony Snicket" icon in the game menu on your phone. Once the game is highlighted, press the "OPTIONS" soft key, then select "OPEN" to start the game.

Game Objectives
Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events is an adventure game in which the player controls three orphans who must foil the plans of an evil guardian out to steal their fortune. The object of Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events is to solve puzzles and complete 5 levels based on the Paramount/Nickelodeon film to hit theaters December 2004.

• At the start of the game, the player is presented with story text that describes the chapter they are about to play.
• When play begins the player can choose to play any of the three Baudelaire orphans (Violet, Klaus, and Sunny), at any time, to navigate their environment and solve puzzles.
• Each chapter level consists of a series of goals that must be completed in order for the chapter to end (i.e. find the dirty dishes, find items to make soap, wash the dishes).
• Once the player has completed a chapter, play progresses to the next chapter where a new set of puzzles and challenges are presented.
• Play continues until all five levels have been completed and the player has beaten the game.

• New Game: Places the player in Chapter 1 of Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events.
• Continue: Allows the player to resume the chapter they last exited.
• Options: Within this menu the user can toggle sound, music, and vibration on or off; and reset the game levels back to replay Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events from the beginning.
