Hard Rock Casino: Video Poker How to Play
Goal: Make valid poker hands of greater than a pair of tens.
How to play:
Use the D-PAD and press Bet or use the NUM PAD to place a bet.
Once done, select the Hand or NUM-0 to deal the cards. To change cards, select or de-select the card(s) you wish to hold by using the D-PAD or NUM-1 to 5. Select the Hand to deal the new cards. You only get one change of cards per game.
Rules:
Only hands that can beat a pair of tens will allow you to win any money.
Card order (from lowest to highest): 2 to 10, Jack, Queen, King, Ace.
A payout bonus will be given if the winning hand contains any hearts (only one bonus given even if entire hand is hearts). An additional bonus will be applied if the winning hand contains the Queen of hearts.
The following shows the order of winning hands (from lowest to highest):
- Pair of Jacks or better.
- Two Pair.
- Three-of-a-kind.
- Straight - 5 cards that follow consecutively. They do not have to be of the same suit.
- Flush - 5 cards of the same suit. They do not have to follow consecutively.
- Full House - A three-of-a-kind plus a pair.
- Four-of-a-kind.
- Straight Flush - Is a Straight, but all cards are of the same suit.
- Royal Flush - A Straight Flush containing a 10, Jack, Queen, King and Ace.
