How do you launch the game?
Within Get it Now, highlight "EA Pool" and press the 'OK' button. The EA logo will appear followed by the splash screen. Afterwards, the main menu will be displayed.

How do you use the main menu?
In the main menu, select a menu item by pressing Up or Down on the direction pad and pressing the 'OK' button or the 'Select' soft key. There are five items on this screen:

Multiplayer - Play against a remote opponent.
Single Player - Play a game against the computer, or practice on your own.
Pass 'n Play - Play against an opponent by passing the phone back and forth on each person's turn.
My Settings - Change the current game options.
Help - A selection of available help topics.
About - Copyright and developer information.

What game options are available?
There are four options available. Select a menu item by pressing Up or Down on the direction pad and pressing the 'OK' button to toggle each option.

Logout: Logout of a multiplayer session completely.
Sound: Lets you turn Music and Sound Effects ON or OFF.
Vibrate: Lets you turn Vibration ON or OFF.
Advanced Mode: Allows you to add a spin to the cue ball.

How do you access the help section?
Select the "Help" menu item on the main menu and press the 'OK' button or the 'Select' soft key to access the help section. Pick a topic and press the 'OK' button or 'Select' soft key to read about it.

How do you play the game?
From the main menu, select "Single Player" and then select a game type (8 Ball or 9 Ball). Once a game type has been chosen, select to play against the computer or play alone ("Free Play"). If you are playing 8 Ball, then sink your balls (e.g. solids or stripes) first and then sink the 8-ball. If you are playing 9 Ball, then sink the balls in order until the 9 ball is sunk or combo the 9 ball in. Use the controls below to aim and shoot.

Up = Flip Cue up to opposite side of ball
Left = Rotate aim Left
Right = Rotate aim Right
Down = Flip Cue up to opposite side of ball
OK = Shoot / Action Key
