Challenge Mode includes a number of different scenarios for a player to complete. These scenarios pit the player against a target score that they must achieve to pass the challenge. These include 3 course challenges and 1 golfer challenge. The course challenges involve a series of shot situations and scenarios such as par-3s, bunker shots, windy tee shots, etc? When you have made your choice, press the Right Soft Key to continue or download the course (if it's not currently on your phone).
Q. How do I swing the club?
A: To execute the perfect swing, you have to time your backswing and your follow-through perfectly. The perfect swing involves setting up the shot by choosing your aim and your club. Once you're ready to swing, initiate the backswing by pressing D-Pad Down or the "8" key. Just as the golfer's club reaches the highest point of the swing, quickly switch to pressing the D-Pad Up or the "2" key. The less time in-between the backswing and the follow-through the better. If your shot requires less than 100%, you can cut the backswing short to execute a shorter distance shot. As you get the hang of the timing, you'll see more "100% Perfect Shots" and you'll be able to hit the ball closer to the target of your choice.
Q. How do I set up the shot?
A: For every shot, a player must setup the shot by choosing a club, aiming their swing and then executing the swing. Players may choose to use draw or fade on the ball to curve the ball in flight. Distances are calculated at 100% of the club's potential. Depending on the timing of the swing key presses, users may lessen the club length percentage. Also, balls that are in the rough or in a hazard will travel at less than 100% of the club's usual distance.
Q. How do I putt?
A: The putting swing is executed a bit differently than the normal swing. A player must read the caddy tip located on the bottom right of the screen and aim the putting crosshair accordingly. The crosshair location will determine distance and whether the ball is right or left of the hole. Once the user is ready to putt, they must exit the aiming menu by pressing "OK".
Q. How do I go between Map View and Shot View?
A: Use the left soft key to toggle between Map View and Shot View. You must be in Shot View to execute a swing.
Q: How do I control the sound, tap-ins, hole tips, commentators and measurement units?
A: From the "Pause" screen, select "Options'. From the "Options" screen, you can use the D-Pad Left and Right or the "4" Key and the "6" Key , or the "OK" and "5" keys to toggle the option of your choice.. The options included on this screen are: ALL SOUND, TAP-INS, HOLE TIPS, COMMENTATOR and UNITS.
Q: How many different trophy balls are there and how do I get them?
A: The trophy balls that you see listed in the "Trophy Room" under the "Game Data" menu option are earned as you play the game. At any given time, if you do something that qualifies you for a trophy ball, the game will alert you that you've just earned the accolade. There are 16 total trophy balls in the game.
