SCRABBLE Blast FAQ
What does "Play" do?
Selecting "Play" allows you to start a new game of SCRABBLE Blast (or continue a game in progress) from three different game modes: One Bag, Puzzle, or Action.
What does "Options" do?
The "Options" menu allows you to access audio, vibration and hint toggles from this menu. You can reset your stats and top ten lists from this menu as well.
How do I check my statistics?
Select "High Scores" from the Main Menu. Statistics are kept for each game mode: number of games played, average score, the highest level achieved, the highest scoring word (and its score), and the number of words made in last (or current) game. The Top Ten list scores for each game mode can also be accessed from the "High Scores" menu.
What are the differences between three game types?
Each game mode requires a different strategy to win. Pick the game mode that fits your playing style or mood!
One Bag: In One Bag, you get 100 tiles -- no clocks, just 100 tiles to make into amazing words. When tiles in a column run out, any columns to the right will shift to the left. When there are no more words to make, the game will end and your one bag bonus will be tallied based on the number of remaining tiles you have on the board. Eliminate all of the tiles on the board to receive a bonus!
Puzzle: In Puzzle, you play through a number of different levels; in each, you must score 10 words to make it to the next. There is a bar at the bottom of the tile rack that indicates your progress through the level. Clocks drop on every turn. If a clock reaches the bottom, it will explode and your game will be over. Each clock has a number indicating the shortest word you must make over it to explode it. For example, if you have a clock with a "4" on it, you need a word of four letters or more.
Action: In Action, clocks fall faster and faster as the game goes on. The clocks have no numbers on them; any legal word made over a clock will explode it. There are levels in Action Mode; in each, you must score 10 words to make it to the next. . There is a bar at the bottom of the tile rack that indicates your progress through the level. As the level increases, so does the speed that the clocks fall.
